CreepingElmps this night started out rough. i left my ticket at the house and had to return home to get it! damn. i missed the opening band, freelance whales. that was a complete bummer. however, shout out louds made it worth the drive back! i was very impressed with this swedish band! being it their last show of their tour in the u.s. they still had lots of energy! they sounded good! however, take note that if you decide to see a show at the el rey i am reminding you that the speakers are not so good! at the beginning the bass was turned up way too high which kind of got in the way of their brilliant talent. magically it was adjusted! Ted Malmros, the bassist, just had a baby. Congrats! Even with a stand-in bassist they seemed meshed. love their genuine talent! i will continue to promote them on blip.fm. come back to see us in the u.s. again! (:
